Laurel Supper Club: Reviews & Ratings
Six family members enjoyed a wonderful meal/ experience this evening 10-31-15. Yeah Halloween! Just a phenomenal meal. Thanks to everyone in the kitchen... prepping our meal. It was just fabulous. We ordered nearly every dish available and each plate arrived HOT, grilled or heated to perfection. Our smiling attendant... sorry forgot her name...she was excellent . And she was lifting way too much at a time. Please rethink the way the loaded plates are delivered to the table. Maybe one of the strong young fellas can assist with just transporting the loaded trays closer....then the server will place them. Just a suggestion... We sure enjoyed our visit/meal/cocktails/ singing Happy Birthday & the Ice Cream Sundae.. WOW. You sure know how to make Everyone Feel special. Happy Halloween Everyone. Hope to return soon. Bill
We are new in town and decided to try Laurel per a few recommendations. It exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere was cozy, classy but welcoming. We went on a Saturday night which was very busy, so highly recommend making a reservation. The service was top tier. Our server, Jenn, was patient and friendly. She did not rush us through the 5 course meal as we’ve experienced at other places. Every bite of food was delicious, freshly made. We can’t wait to visit again on our next special occasion! (P.S. we ordered the spinach dip, 14 oz ribeye, half rack of ribs, French onion soup, strawberry cheesecake and espresso martinis)
Had a great dinner with my family. Prime rib and all the sides were fantastic. Andi was great! Will be back again
Absolutely phenomenal food. The staff worked beautifully together getting out each course and clearing the previous dishes. The food timing between courses was also great. The French onion soup was wonderful. My Chicken Kiev was tender and the butter herb sauce inside was delicious. My husband's Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. True supper club feel yet also comfortable. We will definitely be back. The hour drive is worth it! You must make reservations for Friday and Saturday nights
This was our second time at Laurel Supper Club. Our first experience was as good as this time. The main dining area is small, but still plenty of room around each table to be comfortable and not feel like you’re practically in someone else’s lap! Taste of food was amazing. Our favorite is the Popovers with homemade honey butter they serve warm almost immediately when you sit down. They serve homemade salad dressing with their house salad as well. The signature Parmesan peppercorn dressing and blue cheese dressing are among the best we’ve tasted. Wait staff and service was phenomenal. We will definitely come back many more times even though this supper club is over an hour drive from our home. This club has an old time feel and is decorated with the same charm.
Fantastic experience, great food, friendly staff. Local gem that's worth the drive from the twin cities.
Bar tender friendly and talkative to everyone. Servers on the move and allowed enough time between courses, 1st a popover, then soup followed by salad, then main course, offered dessert but one was too full, after dinner drinks when you moved back to the bar. Recommend calling ahead for reservations. Truly a supper club of Northern Wisconsin.
Had a fantastic dinner recently celebrating my Dad’s birthday. The popover was classic and they all instantly disappeared. I had the French Onion soup. Wow! Just like I like it! The dinner salad was great as was the bread served with it. Some of the best blue cheese dressing I have had. The medium rare ribeye over mushrooms and onions was amazing. Yes, add the mushrooms and onions! So much food and very reasonable prices!! Already planning another trip.
